GAHH was Founded in 1979 with Premium OEM Quality Parts

GAHH Automotive, founded in 1979 and headquartered in North Hollywood, California, is a highly respected designer and manufacturer of aftermarket automotive soft tops, interior kits, and convertible tops offering OEM quality alternatives for brands like Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Jaguar, BMW, Rolls-Royce, and Lexus. Their product range included everything from convertible tops and boot covers to seat upholstery, headliners, carpets, and accessories, making GAHH a one-stop “satisfaction center” for trim shops and restorers.

Strategic Acquisitions Bolster Market Leadership

Over time, GAHH strategically expanded through acquisitions, starting most notably with Robbins Auto Top in 2011. Founded in 1943, Robbins Auto Top began as a small family-run auto upholstery shop. Over the decades, it evolved into a major manufacturer of convertible tops, tonneau covers, windows, headliners, and related accessories, serving European, Japanese, and American convertible vehicles. Based in Oxnard, California, Robbins operates a sizable 50,000 sq ft facility where over 100 skilled sewers and workers manage everything from material cutting to final assembly.

Growth & Manufacturing Diversity continue with EZON & Electron Acquistion

Acquired by GAHH in 2014, E-Z ON Auto Tops, based in Iva, South Carolina, strengthens the TopDown family alongside Robbins Auto Top, creating an industry powerhouse. Renowned for its proprietary window bonding systems and trusted craftsmanship, E-Z ON expanded further in 2023 with the acquisition of Electron Tops, one of the industry’s oldest manufacturers. Today, E-Z ON is a leading choice for American Muscle and Hot Rod enthusiasts, supported by a strong domestic and international distribution network.
